This website has been created to provide information to the wider community and seek feedback to inform the project design. It is important to note that the project is evolving through detailed design and stakeholder consultation. Elgin Energy is in the project planning stage for a proposed solar farm and battery energy storage system at a site on Gresford Road, Singleton. The site is in the Singleton Council area.

We are preparing a scoping report seeking approval for the project from the Minister for Planning via the Department of Planning, Housing & Infrastructure (DPHI). Once the scoping report has been approved by DPHI, we will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement which will assess impacts on the environment and local community.
